本课程特邀社会文化理论领域知名专家、宾夕法尼亚州立大学 James Lantolf 教授以及北京外国语大学中国外语与教育研究中心文秋芳老师共同主讲,系统讲解社会文化理论的内涵、课堂发展原则,以及社会文化理论视阈下的概念型教学法及其在实际课堂中的应用。课程还介绍了动态评估与最近发展区理论及其相关的研究及应用。

【主讲专家】

James Lantolf
The Greer Professor in Language Acquisition and Applied Linguistics in the Department of Applied Linguistics at the Pennsylvania State University. He is Director of the Center for Language Acquisition, and Director of CALPER (Center for Advanced Language Proficiency Education and Research). He was president of the American Association for Applied Linguistics (2005), co-editor of Applied Linguistics (1993-1998), and is founding editor of Language and Sociocultural Theory. His research focuses on sociocultural theory and second language development. He has published over 100 journal articles and book chapters and is co-author of Sociocultural Theory and the Genesis of Second Language Development (2006, Oxford University Press). His 2014 co-authored book, Sociocultural Theory and the Pedagogical Imperative: Vygotskian Praxis and the L2 Research/Practice Divide(Routledge) received the Mildenberger Prize of the Modern Language Association of America for its contribution to the teaching of language and culture. He has published several edited and co-edited volumes, including Vygotskian Approaches to Second Language Research (1994), Sociocultural Theory and Second Language Learning (2000), and Sociocultural Theory and the Teaching of Second Languages (2008). His new co-edited volume The Routledge Handbook of Sociocultural Theory and Second Language Learning will appear in June 2018. He also received the Distinguished Scholarship and Service Award of the American Associate for Applied Linguistics. In 2017, the School of Foreign Studies at Xi’an JiaoTong University established the Lantolf Research Center for Second Language Studies in his honor.

文秋芳
北京外国语大学学术委员会主任、教授、博士生导师,许国璋语言高等研究院院长,中国英汉语比较研究会英语教学研究分会会长,中国英汉语比较研究会副会长,《中国应用语言学》主编、《中国外语教育》主编。主要研究领域为应用语言学,研究兴趣包括二语习得、教师教育、语言政策等,先后在境内外发表论文近160篇,出版专著17部、编著8部、教材7部,主持30多项国家级/省部级研究项目。多次获得国家级和各类省部级教学奖,向国家政府部门提交了10多篇咨询报告。
